Full Description
No.58 Grimshaw Lane. Formerly farmhouse, now house. C17 with C19 alterations and additions to rear. White-washed, coursed, squared sandstone rubble. Stone-slate roof. Stone ridge and chimney. Gable entry two-room plan. Two-storey. Two-bay front has wooden casements with rock-faced lintels and sills. Left gable end has an entrance under a plan lintel and enlarged fire window and right gable has a two-light chamfered rubble mullion. Interior: Beam over fireplace and other ceiling beams visible inside (1).
