Summary

Grade II listed farm building, south-west of Wincle Grange farmhouse. It is probably late 17th century though it has been much altered. It has squared rubble sandstone walls, re-roofed in Staffordshire blue clay tiles. Originally two storey it was proabably a shippon (cowhouse) with labourers' accommodation in part of the upper storey. There are traces of a stone mullioned windows to the former upper storey. The upper floor has been removed. Part of the building was for a period used as a chapel.

Farm building, south-west of house, Wincle Grange. Probably late C17, much altered. Squared rubble sandstone walls, re-roofed in Staffordshire blue clay tiles. Originally two storey, probably a shippon with labourers' accommodation in part of upper storey. Four door openings under massive stone lintels. Traces of a stone mullioned window to former upper storey, with ovolo jambs and head. The upper floor has been removed. Part of the building was for a period used as a chapel.
