Full Description
Barn, western part of north range of buildings at Newbold, Platts Lane. Later C16 with C19 brick outshut. Timber framed with washed brick nogging on stone plinth. Welsh slate roof. Rectangular plan. One storey, three bay north front of 15 x 2 small timber frames with heavy passing braces. Near central doorway is the only original opening. South side has brick outshut. Interior: Timber frame almost complete. Roof trusses have diagonal braces and wind braced purlins. Full architectural description (1).
