Full Description
A clay tobacco pipe bowl & a sherd of pottery were found in the river Bollin. The pottery has an orange-brown fabric and the glaze on both surfaces is a dark brown/blackish colour. It is slip decorated on the external surface. Both pieces are retained by the finder (1). The grid ref given in ref 1 is c.200m to the north of the river Bollin.
