Full Description
A grooved hammer stone was found by the OS investigator, lying among debris below the Stormy Point mines in 1964. Sketch (1).
According to (2), half an axe broken through the central hour glass perforation was found within buried debris in a similar location to other mining mauls from this site. A fairly crude example apparently used in the mining of rock, and much battered.
