Please read our .

Summary

Park Cottages comprises a terrace of four cottages that appear to be a 19th century conversion of an earlier farm building (they incorporate medieval stonework). The cottages are two storeys, of local sandstone with later end gables of brown brick. They could represent a former a stable or barn associated with Ince Manor. Ground beneath cottages is scheduled and the cottages are Grade II Listed.

Park cottages on Kinsey's Lane may be linked with the manor site. Now a row of sandstone cottages, it was formerly a stable or barn, at least in part, since there is a blocked circular pitch hole in the north-west gable.

Grade II Listed terrace of four 2-storey, 2-window cottages, probably early C19 conversion of earlier farm building (perhaps of Monastic Grange). Local sandstone squared, largely coursed rubble walls with later end gables of brown brick; brick chimneys; grey Welsh graded slate roof with sandstone ridge. Window and door openings cut out from pre-existing stonework. Small timber casement windows and ledged and battened front doors unaltered in three cottages. Traces of slit windows similar to those surviving in adjacent Grange buildings. Sandstone rubble garden wall on line of Grange boundary.
