Summary

Grade II listed Windmill. It was built in the mid 18th century and now converted to a dwelling with an entrance at the first floor with a railed balcony and a garage below. It is a red brick round building, decreasing in girth upwards. A new roof has been added in place of the sails.

Full Description

Old Windmill, Leighton Road, Neston. Mid 18th century. A red brick round building, decreasing in girth upwards. Now converted to a dwelling having entrance at 1st floor with railed balcony and garage below. 4 storeys, generally 2 windows at each floor, near-flush frame casements, altered openings at the base. Parapet added at new roof which is surmounted by a mast and wind vane (1).
