Summary

An area of land was enclosed in 1938 to form a memorial to early Quakers in general. A plaque on the wall states that the site has been known as the Quakers Graves since the mid 17th century. These were deliberate burials outside consecrated ground.

Quakers Graves, Burton - railed off slabbed area 4m by 1.5m. Plaque onwall behind states that the site has been known as the Quakers Graves since the mid 17th century. The area was enclosed in 1938 to form a memorial to early Quakers in general (1) They were deliberate burials outside consecrated ground - died in excommunication (2).
