Summary
A lare amount of post medieval pottery was found in an old well. The pottery included the rims, bases and bodysherds of a slipware mug and dishes, iron- glazed pancheons and storage jars, large stoneware jars and some clay pipestems.

Full Description
Rims, bases and bodysherds of a slipware mug and dishes. Also iron- glazed pancheons and storage jars and large stoneware jars. Rimsherd of large pancheon of coarse red fabric. Green-brown internal glaze. Some clay pipestems. Found in an old well(pre 1740) bisected by a wall of the Old Bank Building, Parkgate Rd., Neston (1).
