Excavation revealed evidence of 18th century almshouse. The site is now occupied by the village hall. Finds include pot from 14th to the 20th century, a musket ball, and clay pipe.

Full Description
During a minor excavation, no evidence of structures earlier than the C18 almshouses which once occupied the east of the site was found (1). Site now occupied by the village hall. Finds include pot from C14 to C20, musket ball, and clay pipe. (2)
