Full Description

In about 1876, a fragment of an inscription on an architectural moulding was found, possibly on the west side of Northgate Street between the Old Shambles and the Northgate (RIB i 459).

Found in the area of the large building, originally assumed to be the praetorium, but now considered to be the south end of a large hospital (1) & (2).
