Full Description
Bronze Roman coin (Dupondius) of Trajan. Minted in Rome AD 116 (RIC 676). Obverse - IMP (CAES NER TRAINO OPTIMO AVG GER DAC PARTHICO PM TR P COS VI PP). Reverse - (SENATVS POPVLVSQVE POMANVS SC). Trajan and two trophies. Indentification by Dr DCA Shotter. Found from ploughed fields in March 1996. In possession of finder (1). Photograph in SMR.
