Monument record 2428 - Reservoir in Valley Brook

The remains consist of what may be a weir across the brook; along the bank on each side are a number of sandstone blocks, and there is an old wooden stump bedded in the brook by the `weir'.

The structures described sound as if they may be water control features, or a dam or leat associated with a watermill.
