Summary

Grade II listed farmhouse. Although is is early 19th century in appearance it has a 17th century core. Inside is an ornate staircase imported from Bretton Hall, Shropshire. There is also an early 17th century timber framed barn which has been clad and roofed with corrugated iron.

Full Description

Woodworth Green Farmhouse. Early C19 appearance but early C17 core. Two- storey, two-bay brick exterior on stone plinth. Casements. Interior has carved inglenook beam and ovolo-moulded and bevelled beams. Wide staircase of ornate late C18/early C19 type imported from Bretton Hall, Shropshire. Barn, early C17. Timber framed but clad and roofed with corrugated iron. Two- storeys, three-bays, sandstone plinth. Small framing with passing braces. Tie beam and collar trusses with four struts (1).
