The former site of Barbridge Mill has now been redeveloped, and is occupied by a bungalow. The first record of the mill is Ogilby's map, of 1675 and the site is named Bar Mill in a 1775 source. The mill last worked in 1880

Full Description

Site of Barbridge Mill has now been redeveloped, and is occupied by a bungalow. The leat was still well defined, and the overflow weir survived in 1968 (1). The first record of the mill is Ogilby's map, of 1675 (2 & 3), and the site is named Bar Mill by Dodgson, from a 1775 source (4). The mill last worked in 1880 (1).
