Full Description
Bronze blade fragment found in ploughsoil during a metal detectors club meeting on Reaseheath College land. Flattish cross-section suggests that it is part of a Dirk, Rapier or Sword of the middle - late bronze age. Fragment is 0.6 cms thick, 2.9 cms wide (very nearly full blade width) and tapering (1).
