Full Description
'Fob pendant' of unknown function - horse harness/decoration? Consists of a 4cm diameter bronze disc with centrally located shank. Disc carries openwork decoration comprising three intersecting arcs which form a central trefoil. Comparable to iron Age forms with triskele decoration but the British Museum suggests that it is more likely roman as the objects decoration is based on compass arcs. Found a few yards from a lead spindle whorl or weight. 1.9 cms diam, Max 0.5 cms thick, 0.7 cm diameter of hole (1).
