Summary
Bronze Age socketed axe found in 1994. The axe is 11 cms long and 5 cms wide across the blade, with one loop and ribs. Socket axes were cast around a clay core so they were hollow. The loop allowed a more secure fastening to a handle.

Full Description
Bronze Age socketed axe found in 1994. Reported to Grosvenor Museum 21/7/94, Museum Entry Number 0213. Axe is c.11 cms long and c.5 cms wide across the blade, with one loop and ribs (1).
