Full Description
Roman silver coin found by Mr L Tempest, Elm Cottage, Brook House Lane, Minshull Vernon, with a metal detector. Siliqua, late 4th century. Possibly Valentinian, Valens or Gration, c.370-80. Heavily cleaned, so wear not easy to assess, but probably M/F, ie considerable wear in antiquity. Reported to the Grosvenor Museum 29/10/92. (1)
