Full Description
Farmhouse dated internally 1636. Timber framed with brick infill and tile roof. Two storey. Four bay front. Righthand side has massive ashlar fireplace with diamond shaped flues. Timber framing visible at rear. Interior has ashlar fireplace in ground floor with moulded cornice and jambs and ornamental frieze inscribed GT MT R 1636. Chamfered beams and joists. Five-panel doors (1). Three main phases of development; early 17th two bay, two storey building; mid 17th added the cross wing; 19th addition of brick casing and change in plan design (2).
