Summary

Grade II listed Windmill. Built in the late 18th / early 19th century of red brick. Only the body and a portion of the revolving cap survive and there are also two sets of mill wheels.

Full Description

Buerton Old Windmill, Windmill Lane. Body of windmill. Late 18th C/ early 19th C. Red English garden wall bond brick. Circular body, with battered walls. 4 storeys. 4 cambered headed windows to each floor. Canbered headed doorways to front and rear of ground floor and loft door immediately above ground floor doorway at front. Some of timber of the revolving cap remains and 2 sets of mill wheels also remain (1).
