Summary
One of two sections cut aross a timber road or roads, laid across peaty ground near Marbury Mere. The road consisting of layers of roughly shaped logs laid over brushwood, and cobbles laid over the wood was discovered.

Full Description
Two sections were cut across a timber road or roads, laid across peaty ground near Marbury Mere in 1973 during sewerage works. Mr B R Davies drew a section (see 1). Road consisted of two layers of roughly shaped logs laid over brushwood. Cobbles overlaid the wood but no evidence if these were secondary. No dating evidence (1).
