Summary

Cropmarks visible from aerial photographs seem to show a field system, were showing though a field visit could not identifiy any features. Cropmarks are visible changes in the growth of vegetation that may indicate a buried feature. These distinctions can usually only be identified from aerial photographs.

Full Description

O G S Crawford took an A/P on 22 June 1934 in which various cropmarks, seemingly including a field system, were showing. Visit 1978 found no evidence at this NGR except gently undulating pasture (1).
