Monument record 210/1 - Moat at Red Hall

The moat has almost been obliterated. Includes annotated 25 inch survey.

The site is crossed by a modern road and only the south-west quadrant of the ditch survives to any depth. This is covered by an orchard in which parts of two other ditches joining the moat are visible. Sub-rectangular platform

Depicts the moat. The moat is an elongated D shape.

This map shows very little detail at this location, except for the locations of buildings. This map, when rectified against other maps, depicts a building in the north-east corner of the moat platform.
