Full Description
Timber slots for circular and rectangular features were visible in drought conditions over a considerable area to the west, north and east of Rawhead Farm. Circles were about 9m diameter, no rectangular features were complete. ? Neo/Bronze Age settlement (1). Possible banjo enclosure reported by S R Williams on air photos taken 1981 (3).

Timber slots for circular and rectangular features, were visible as drought marks in 1976. They appeared to the west north and east of farm buildings at
Rawhead farm. The circles were nine metres in diameter and the rectangles were incomplete. They possibly represent a Neolithic/Bronze Age undefended settlement.
