A park at Wrenbury in mentioned around 1536. There are other references from 1558 and 1568. The park is shown on Speed's map of Cheshire, 1611. Part of its boundary may be represented by the parish boundary from north of Heald Covert to Wrenbury Wood, south of Baddiley Reservoir and to the south- east.

Leland mentions a park at Wrenbury in c.1536. There are other references from 1558 and 1568 (1). The park is shown on Speed's map of 1611 (2). Part of its boundary may be represented by the parish boundary from north of Heald Covert to Wrenbury Wood, south of Baddiley Reservoir and to the south- east (3).
