The possible location of a watermill referred to in a documentary source dating from 1601. It's former location may be inferred from two field names recorded on the 1839 tithe award for Haslington township.

The fields 362 and 353 Mill Field and Mill Meadow are named on the tithe award (see 2).

Plot 353 is named Part of Mill Meadow. Plot 362 is named Mill Field.
