Find Spot record 2636/0/1 - Brookhouse Moss prehistoric findspot

Flint flake found on surface of ploughed field immediately to the west of Brookhouse Moss in March 1996. Elongated flake in dark brown flint, struck from a prepared core, no retouch. Some cortex on one face. Length 7.4 cms; max width 2.1 cms. Possibly characteristics indicate Mesolithic. In collections of Cheshire Museums Service. Donated by finder.
