Full Description
Information from a school project written in 1986 entitled 'The Dark Valley; an investigation of the history of one of the richest archaeological sites in Britain' suggests Toad Hall may have been surrounded by a moat. Author illustrates section through the ditch from the laying of a land drain in 1976 and provide a map showing the location of the ditch.
