Bronze mount or finial consisting of four arms with pierced and expanded tips radiating from a hollow central boss. Tip of one arm missing. Maximum width 6.3 cms, height of boss 2.0 cms. Medieval? Found with several other objects along the course of a road development. Handed to S Penny for identification (1).
