Summary

Cropmarks visible on an RAF aerial photograph dating from 1946-7. Cropmarks are visible changes in the growth of vegetation that may indicate a buried feature. These distinctions can usually only be identified from aerial photographs.

F Mountford reports that cropmarks are visible at this location on an aerial photograph dating from 1946-7 (see 2).
