Full Description
Crook Hall, Bomish Lane. Farmhouse, late 16th century. Red brick with stone slate roof. Flush stone quoins and narrow Elizabethan bricks. The facade has three symmetrical gables with some exposed oak timbers and added barge boards and finials. The north-east side gable has a fully timbered gable in close panelling. Interior: timber framing in internal wall, stop chamfered beams. Closed string staircase. The roof has trusses with queen posts, original purlins, ridge tree and rafters (1).
