Summary

A pair of seventeenth century brick cottages converted to a farmhouse at some point prior to the early nineteenth century. The farmhouse was originally accompanies by two farm buildings and an orchard.

Full Description

Seventeenth century with later alterations. Originally a pair of modest farm cottages; painted brick; one and two storeys. The present house, which is the two-storeyed portion on the right- hand side, has one casement window and plain doorway with ledged door. Left-hand wing has three sash windows and plain doorway and two dormers on south side breaking above eaves. Part thatch and part metal and asbestos sheeting.

This map depicts three buildings arranged around a possible yard. It is described as a house and garden.

This map depicts the farm cottages with a range of farm buildings to the north and a further farm building to the north-west. An orchard is located to the immediate south and south-west of the cottages. Labelled Oldhouse Farm.
