Whilst metal detecting in the area of the given grid reference, five lead spindlewhorls of the type now commonly found in Cheshire were discovered. Four are biconical with geometrical patterns, one is flat. Late medieval/post-medieval in date. Identified by Glenys Lloyd-Morgan, Grosvenor Museum (1).
