Full Description
A Romano-British, late 2nd - early 3rd century, coarse ware jar with a grey body, grooved foot 7.5 cm in diam & neck 11 cm in diam was found in Sandbach along with a sherd of a red-bodied, low-fired shallow dish. Now in the City Museum Stoke-on-Trent (1).
