Full Description
Circular bank and ditch (1). On the ground site appears as a line of mounds alongside a silted-up small mere. One mound excavated but no structural evidence. Finds post-medieval or modern, except for Neolithic arrowhead. Fields to north of hall retain curving ridge & furrow, 8.5m wide. Area to south of excavation, field walked. Only two medieval pot sherds with large volume of later material (3).
