Full Description
Barn, Shippon and Stables, 30m to east of Moston Manor Farmhouse. Built c.1690 and mid 18th century. Brick with clay tile roof to barn and cement roof to shippon/stable. Barn probably c.1690 has boarded doors with camber-arched heads; large double doors to threshing floor, blocked loophole vents to both storeys; upper storey and roof space have two superimposed loading doors. Shippon/stable has boarded doors with camber-arched heads and two rows of vents in alternating diamond and split-diamond patterns. Interiors: oak purlins and queen-post trusses.
