School Master's house now private house. Early seventeenth century. Brick nogged and plastered timber frame with stone slate and blue tile roof coverings. Single storey and attic, three-bays. Stone plinth. Timbers in small framing with angle braces to rear and east gable. Facade and west gable in late eighteenth century brickwork. Three-light flush casements with glazing bars and flat cambered arches ground floor and in cat-slide half dormers at first floor level. Boarded door in heavy beaded frame, under cambered arch and fronted by softwood pitched hood with trellis side cheeks. Gable and intermediate ridge stacks. Brick outshut half length of rear. Interior: Timbers in internal walls, bevelled beams, door opening with ogee head. Inglenook beam.
