Summary

Cross outside porch of All Saints Church, Church Lane dating from the 11th or 12th century. The cross is made of sandstone and has a square base and plinth with a cyma (reversed S shape) moulded top. The cross has a square shaft, the top of which has two carved wheel motifs on the west face and four flutes on the south face. The top is missing.

Full Description

Cross outside porch of All Saints Church, Church Lane. Probably C11/C12. Ashlar buff sandstone. A square base has a square plinth with a cyma-moulded top. This has a square shaft set in and two bulbous bands below a deeply chamfered body. The top is square with two carved wheel motifs on the west face and four flutes on the south face. The top is truncated (1).
