Full Description
Roman features were recovered from the City Walls area in 1931 approximately 27m south of Black Friars Lane in Nun's Road. Several coins of a first and fourth century date were recovered as well as Samian and other pottery fragments and a bronze strigil blade. Wall plaster painted in various colours was noted. (3)
