Full Description
A portion of a bone comb, with ring and dot decoration, was found in 1961 at 46 - 50 Foregate St., prior to the construction of a new shopping block (1). Identified as a Saxon period find, there was no evidence of Saxon occupation at this location and Roman horizons were sealed by clearly medieval deposits (1).
