Full Description

Neolithic roughly-polished, thin-butted stone axe, 7.5inches long, of 'Bridlington' type, was found in 1901, during the deepening of a ditch on a farm at Hargrave, Foulk Stapleford. 2 long edges flattened (1)(2)& (3). Found in the autumn of 1891 (4). Axe of weathered Cornish greenstone (5).
