Full Description
Faraway Meadow, Cross O'th'Hill Road. Cottage, late C17, with extension left (originally a farmbuilding), probably early C19. Brick-nogged oak small framing, left bay of brick, cement-slate roof. Three bays. Replaced boarded door in open gabled porch on brackets. Most windows replaced with Cholmondeley Estate cast iron lattice casements. Interior: Inglenook with arched oak bressumer, chamfered oak beams in lower storey. Some oak framed internal walls. Full architectural description (1).
