Full Description
Roman finds recovered during non-archaeological excavations associated with the extension of the Co-operative building, to the east of Forest House on Forest St. in the 1929. Three sherds of Roman pottery, one decorated Samian ware body sherd and one decorated Samian ware rim sherd, and one red coarse ware base sherd, were found (1, 2).
