Full Description

Aerial imagery depicts a curving linear negative cropmark following the contours of a low hillock on its north-eastern, north-western, and (partially) south-western sides. The feature is approximately 80 metres long and between 3.6 metres and 5 metres wide, regular, and with slightly rounded terminals. The feature encloses an extrapolated area of approximately 1 hectare. A smaller slightly curving linear cropmark is evident in the north-western corner of this area, c.20 metres long and c.3.7 metres wide.

This feature is visible as a faint soilmark.

Landforms such as this natural hillock are sometimes chosen for the location of Bronze Age barrows.
