Late nineteenth century / early twentieth century triangular stone milestone on the south eastern side of Warrington Road, which was probably erected between 1894 and 1908/9. It is triangular, with a straight back and downward sloping top. Lettering reads 'NEWCHURCH TOWNSHIP OF CULCHETH' (top); 'TO WARRINGTON 7 MILES' (left); 'TO LEIGH 3 3/4 MILES' (right).
