Railway boundary post, mid nineteenth century, on the south bank of the River Dane. Cast iron "T" bar section with rounded top edges to face and rear support bar. The post is marked with the inscription L & N W Ry Co and is associated with the Twemlow Viaduct a few metres to the west. Included for group value.
