Cottage 1764 (carved on stone tablet over door) but this is thought to be the reconstruction date of a late seventeenth century building. Brick nogged timber frame with slate roof. Single storey and attic, two bays. One-metre-high brick plinth. Timbers in small framing arrangement to front and both gable-ends. Replaced oak door divided into three panels by vertical beads. Replaced three-light casements without glazing bars. Attic windows in gables only. Stone tablet over door inscribed T.B.H. and the date. Gable barge boards with finials. Central chimney stack. Twentieth flat-roofed addition and the rear south. Interior: Bevelled beams and exposed ceiling joists. Exposed chamfered purlins in the bedrooms.
