Central entrance to No.106, the door with eight fielded octagonal panels and traceried fanlight in stone architrave. Entrance to left in No.108. Tripartite sashes to ground floor, sash windows without glazing bars above, all windows probably of c1850. Moulded stone eaves cornice.

Niche in wall to staircase, with original built-in cupboard. Acanthus plasterwork frieze over stairway. Delicate Adam-style plasterwork to drawing room ceiling, forming garlanded panels with central rosette, and acanthus frieze. Internal doorways all in reeded architraves with rosettes, the panelled doors retaining their original door furniture, with delicately worked handles and finger plates in brass and wood.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: short length of original cast-iron railing adjoins No.108. The original house is said to have been built by a silk manufacturer, who also built the adjacent weavers' houses, Nos 100-104 Buxton Road (qv).
