Full Description
In 1817, during the construction of a cellar at the junction of Foregate Street and Seller Street, several coins of Vespasian, and a cream- coloured pottery lachrymatory were found. Because it is reported as 'several' coins, there is a possibly that this find represents a hoard (1) (2).
